I’m in Nashville at the moment, waiting to meet up with one of my very best friends. Since almost our entire relationship has been based around eating ridiculous amounts of food (there are other things, but food does play a large role, like the two good Italian girls we are), we have quite the struggle ahead of us tonight: Celebrate Thanksgiving without completely carbing out. There’s a reason to such madness-she’s getting married on Saturday to the handsome man sitting next to her in that picture, there.

I have a history of horrible Thanksgivings. Emergency rooms, food poisoning, hours lost driving mindlessly in the car, sitting in a car in front of someone else with food poisoning… The list goes on. I have a good feeling about this year, though. Can’t wait for the weekend to get started.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone! Sending lots of love your way and wishing copious amounts of food onto your tables. Make sure it’s all properly cooked, though. Reliving the meal at 3 AM is nothing to be thankful about. Trust me.
